Mining Field: Ventilation and Air Conditioning Area: Clearing Smoke (Rule#351)
The fumes from blasting operations cannot be removed from a stope or heading at a ventilation velocity less than 25 fpm (0.13m/s). A 30% higher air velocity is normally required to clear a stope. At least a 100% higher velocity is required to efficiently clear a long heading. read more »
